I am writing to respond publicly to the law firm's reply to my initial review.
To clarify the situation, I was struck by an intoxicated driver while I was walking as a pedestrian. I contacted this firm for representation. Contrary to the firm's assertion that my case "didn't qualify," the associate I spoke with suggested that I, the pedestrian, might be found liable in the incident and that they, therefore, could not take the case.
I disagree with their assessment and their claim that I was using "bad wording and profanity." They wrote this to cover themselves and avoid accountability for the representative's unprofessional demeanor and questionable legal advice. By attempting to paint me as difficult or intemperate, they are trying to deflect attention from the actual substance of my complaint and make me look bad.
Their characterization of our conversation seems intended to deflect from their questionable legal advice and unwillingness to advocate for a victim in a clear-cut case of an intoxicated driver hitting a pedestrian.
My purpose in leaving a review remains to inform others. If you are a pedestrian hit by a drunk driver, you may wish to seek a second opinion from a firm that is willing to represent your rights vigorously.
